CFCD REPORT TO HOPE4KIDS

Decemberr, 2013: Year End

Brethren in Christ. Happy new year 2014. I congratulate you all for finishing 2013 when God is still giving you the breathe. 2013 has not been an easy year but I thank God because he has continued to use you together with us to serve his people. We know the whole world is facing challenges at different levels but the Spirit of God has continued to convict you that your brothers and sisters in Uganda need your support to live a dignified life.

Through Christian Foundation for Community development (CFCD), The great commandment in Mathew 28:19 has been fulfilled. These are the words of Jesus; “therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I commanded you. And surely iam with you always, to the end of the age”. We have uttered the words of the gospel to thousands of prisoners and patients, we have delivered relief aid to those who are hurting and supported the poor to access medicines. Surely, you have supplemented our efforts in terms of resources and hundreds have been saved. The one who plants a seed and the one who waters it to grow and harvests, all have a stake in the work and they get equal benefits.

Together, we have worked as the hands and feet of Jesus. We shall share the reward when Christ comes back. On behalf of Christian Foundation and on my own behalf, I want to thank you all for your financial support. I also want to thank those members who have made an effort to come to Uganda and participate in our outreaches as we serve together Gods people. May the Lords blessings be witnessed upon you urbandantly. Spiritualy, physically, financiary and materialy, BE BLESSED!!

Outreach Programs.

The support from hope4kids partners has done great work in Christian Foundation to supplement our other sources of income to reach out to many in Mukuju health unit, Morukatipe prison, Mayuge prisons and other members of the communities who need Christ and who equally need our material support for them to live a dignified life. In all our outreaches, Christ is our banner. We do the works of compassion, pray for Gods healing and preach the gospel to those who are sick and dispense medicines to them according to the doctor’s prescriptions. This is exactly what Jesus Christ did. He would move from city to city, doing good and offering compassion to those who were hurting. He would heal the sick and raise the dead and even feed the hungry. We are continuing to build on Christ’s foundation.

The funds from our donars that have suplimented our other sources have helped us reach out to thousands of people especially those in prison and the sick. Although not all of them accepted Christ in 2013, iam happy to announce to you that approximately over 500 (five hundred) people among the thousands that we reached with the good news of salvation have accepted Christ. Thousands more who are sick have been fed with a nutrious meal. More hundreds of the sick admitted at Mukuju Health Unit and Tororo hospital have benefited from our medicine dispensing program. We have helped many babies whose mothers died after birth and members of the communities have benefited in many ways from our activities.

Our resource envelop is small and your support has enabled us to
do a lot. Perhaps, had it not to be God to use you, we wouldn’t have reached this far. We thank Hope4kids International for all the support that we have received from them. Your organization has helped ministries that reach out to the people of God to do the works of love that accompany the gospel. We also thank the churches that have supported us through hope4kids. These are Seaside church, Lord of Life and others. On behalf of Christian Foundation, I can’t forget to thank Individuals who have stood with us. Hope4Kids staff you are our hero’s, Pastor Larry, Gene and Elaine Toth, brother Kent and Jenny Schelor Herzogs. You are our hero’s and you are hero’s in the Kingdom. Thank you for standing with Christian Foundation.

Challenges.

As I have mentioned above, God has been good to our ministry and helped us to lobby friends and organizations that have supported us. Although we have this support, its not enough for us to fulfill our vision, mission and objectives as we want: (1) We have a great need of feeding the aids patients at Mukuju health unit who come to pick Anti Retrivial Drugs and adding on the days that we feed the sick at Tororo hospital. (2) We need more money to buy medicines for the sick at the two health facilities. (3) We encounter many people that need surgeries that can’t be carried out at these facilities which are expensive making us to need more money for surgeries. (4) We lack a vehicle to help us in our outreaches.
